Signs you need a same-day dentist today
Plenty of tooth problems can hold until a routine checkup. Not these:
- Pain that kept you up last night or doesn't ease with an over-the-counter pain reliever

Next you hear what's wrong and what would fix it, in plain words. Sometimes there's a choice, like a root canal to keep the tooth or an extraction to remove it. Then you get the treatment price in writing. If you say yes, the dentist gets started at that visit whenever the treatment allows. A crown that needs to be made takes a second appointment, and we tell you that up front.
Cost of a same-day emergency visit in Osprey
For patients paying without insurance, the visit starts at $99. That's the exam and the X-ray. Treatment is a separate charge, and you see it in writing before anything begins. We don't quote treatment prices on this page because the price depends on what the X-ray shows.

Our office is at 416 S Tamiami Trl Ste F4, Osprey, FL 34229, on US 41, the South Tamiami Trail. Historic Spanish Point is about a mile north of us, and Pine View School is just east of the highway. From Interstate 75, exit 200 puts you on State Road 681 west, which meets US 41 just south of the office.

How soon can I be seen after I call?
During office hours, the same day. The front desk sets the time while you're on the line. Call after 4:00 PM, or any time on the weekend, and the answering service reserves the first opening for you, 8:00 AM the next business morning. What we can't do is see someone who shows up without calling.
Will the treatment happen at the same visit?
Usually, yes. Extractions, root canals, abscess drainage, bonding for a chipped tooth and re-cementing a loose crown are typically done at the first visit once you've agreed to the written price. Treatments that need something made, such as a new crown, take a second visit. You'll know which before you decide.
I'm in Osprey for the winter. Can I still come in?
Yes. You don't need a history with our office to be seen. Bring photo ID plus your insurance card, if you carry one. If your PPO plan is from out of state, tell the front desk the plan name when you call so they can check it.
Can I come in on Saturday?
