The $99 is a minimum fee for patients paying without insurance. It covers a limited, problem-focused emergency exam (ADA code D0140) and the X-ray needed to diagnose the tooth. Treatment is priced separately and quoted to you in writing before any work starts.

How far is our office from Gulf Gate?
About 5.5 road miles, and 10 to 15 minutes depending on how the Trail is moving. Gulf Gate lies north of Vamo along US 41, around Gulf Gate Drive and Beneva Road, with Stickney Point Road (State Road 72), the south bridge to Siesta Key, and South Gate Ridge close by. Our office is at 416 S Tamiami Trl Ste F4, Osprey, FL 34229, on US 41 (South Tamiami Trail), the main road through Osprey.
Between Gulf Gate and Osprey, US 41 runs through Vamo and past Historic Spanish Point, which is about a mile north of our door. Once you're on the Trail there are no turns to make. Parking is on site.
What an emergency dental visit costs for Gulf Gate patients
The exam and X-ray are $99 for patients paying without insurance. Fixing it is priced separately, and our dentists put that price in writing and hand it to you before any work starts. You decide from there.

Getting here from Gulf Gate
Every route from Gulf Gate ends the same way, southbound on US 41 for about ten minutes.
- Gulf Gate Drive: follow it to US 41 and turn south. This is the direct option from the center of the neighborhood, near the Gulf Gate Library and Gulf Gate Elementary School.
- Beneva Road: from the east side of Gulf Gate, take Beneva Road to US 41, then south. Sarasota County Fire Station 11 is in Gulf Gate too.
- Stickney Point Road: from around Sun Haven Plaza or the Siesta Key bridge, Stickney Point Road also meets US 41. Turn south.
After that, stay on US 41 through Vamo, past Historic Spanish Point, and into Osprey. Our office is on the Trail at 416 S Tamiami Trl Ste F4. Season traffic and afternoon thunderstorms can push the drive toward the 15 minute mark, so build that in.
Same-day emergency dental care for Gulf Gate patients
We start seeing patients at 8:00 AM every weekday, and emergency time is set aside each day. Call during office hours and the front desk gives you a time, typically that same day. Call outside office hours and a real person still answers, takes your details and holds you the first opening, which is 8:00 AM the next business morning.
At the visit, our dentists examine the tooth, take an X-ray and tell you what they found. You get the treatment price in writing. Treatment usually follows at the same appointment, in the same chair: toothache relief, emergency extractions, root canals, abscess and infection care, broken tooth repair and lost fillings and crowns. Our dentists do all of it in our office.
